Economic Dispatch of Combined Heat and Power Plant Units within Energy Network Integrated with Wind Power Plant

Cogeneration, also known as a combined heat and power (CHP) system, produces both simultaneously. It reduces the operating costs emissions by utilising waste from steam turbines contributes to incapacitating intermittency of renewable energy. The CHP-economic dispatch (CHP-ED) is needed overcome load dynamics well intermittency. In this work, CHP system connected with wind plant considered for analysing CHPED within typical area. This study examines, without integrated energy network. main objective work minimise total cost, while meeting generators’ constraints prioritising output. feasible region, valve point loading impact, prohibited working regions plants are taken finding solution an turbine. To find solution, optimisation algorithm was applied based on selecting best worst scenarios. A 48-unit structure used validating technique’s success with/without plant. our investigation, we found that operational were significantly reduced system. presented methodology will be useful process decentralised units promoting further integration other distributed clean resources.
